Parks
The University Park Neighborhood includes 3 parks and a bike trail.
The neighborhood boundaries are shown
in red.

McKenna Park has a baseball diamond, soccer field, basketball court,
playground, picnic tables, public bathrooms and wooded areas.

Portsmouth Park has a baseball diamond, soccer field, playground and
many large evergreen trees.

The Penninsula Crossing Bike Trail goes through our neighborhood. It
borders the train track ravine. The path connects to the 40 Mile loop
trail and Smith & Bybee Lakes. It also has public art at some of
the
trail heads.


The Columbia Park Annex includes baseball
fields, horeshoe pits, a playground, drinking fountains and a public
bathroom. The Annex is the section of park between Lombard and
Willamette Blvd. The main section of Columbia Park is north of Lombard
St. and is quite large. It has a playground, picnic areas, soccer
fields, tennis courts, a public indoor swiming pool and many wooded
areas.
